01 February 2011
This weekend’s event is a “Generals” match…

This event will have a few differences from our standard “Generals” matches:

  • All games will be played on one map.
    • All of the maps in play will be linked into one large map.
  • When Player A‘s force defeats Player B‘s general, the remainder of Player B‘s force will become part of Player A‘s team.
    • Player B becomes the “sergeant” of the Player A.
    • Player B and Player A can coordinate to develop strategy, but Player A has the final word over the positioning and use of forces.
  • There will be one three-hour round.
    • If more than one player’s general is remaining at the end of three hours, a final, sudden-death rule will go into effect: Each player will pare his/her team down to the remainder of their original force and play until only one general and their force remains.

If anyone has further questions, please leave a comment on this post; I will make efforts to have answers posted before Saturday’s match.
